The storms of events were unable to sink the boat
of her unshakable faith

تشعر براحة عميقة ناجمة عن عمل الصواب وتتميم الواجبات

She feels a deep calm as a result of doing what's right
and fulfilling her duties

أراد أن يقيم صِلات ودية مع الذين يتعامل معهم

He wanted to establish friendly ties
With those who he deals with

التمس الاعتكاف طلباُ للسلام والتفكير الخلاق

he sought seclusion in search of peace and creative thinking

غالباً ما تأملتْ دراما الحياة وتنوعاتها غير المحدودة

She often reflected on life’s drama and its endless diversifications

تعلم الكثير من مدرسة الحياة

He learned much from the school of life

كانت كلماتها كالبلسم الشافي

Her words were like a healing balm

وجدتْ في الجمال الباهر منبعاً ثرّاً للإلهام

She found in splendor beauty a rich source of inspiration

استعصت إرادته الحديدية على الإنحناء

His iron will was unbendable

الثبات أقوى من العواصف والأعاصير

Steadfastness is mightier than storms and gales

آمنتْ بحرية الرأي وتطوير الذات

She believed in freedom of opinion and self-development

حاصرته الهواجس والوساوس

He was besieged by anxieties and temptations

لم تسمح لديجور القنوط بإطفاء شموع الأمل في نفسها

She didn’t allow the darkness of despondency
to put out the candles of hope in her soul

تاقت نفسه للطمأنينة بعد رحلة العمر المديدة

His soul longed for tranquility after life’s long journey

أفكارها المشرقة تحاكي أشعة شمس الصباح

Her bright thoughts resemble the morning sunrays

جبينه المتغضن يروي رحلة حياة طويلة وشاقة

His wrinkled forehead narrates a long and arduous life journey

عللت نفسها ببلوغ سعادة طال انتظارها لها

She entertained the hope of attaining a long-awaited happiness

ظل محافظاً على تفائله بالرغم من الوضع الميئوس منه

He maintained his optimism in spite of the hopeless situation

من يحترم كلمته يستحق الإحترام

Whoever respects his word is worthy of respect

She was never content with crumbs of happiness

Her heart was afloat on a sea of molten affection

And enjoy the magnificent nature

Situations that call for fortitude and courage
